Last updated: 28 September 2026. LabelCub is a one-person operation run by Marlien. This page explains what we collect when you place an order, why, and how long we keep it, per South Africa's POPIA.
What we collect
When you check out, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and the first name(s) of the child/children the labels are for (needed to print the labels themselves).
We do not require an account, and we never see or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by PayFast.
Why we collect it
- Name, email, phone, address: to process payment, print your order, and ship it to you.
- Child's name: printed directly onto the labels you ordered: that's the whole product.
- Email: also used to send your order confirmation.
Who else sees it
- PayFast: processes your payment. We never see your card details.
- Resend: sends the order confirmation email on our behalf.
- Cloudflare: hosts the site, database and the generated PDF of your order.
- Marlien: receives your delivery details and the print file by email to fulfil your order. There is no other staff and no admin dashboard; this is a single-operator business.
We never sell or share your information for marketing.
How long we keep it
- Abandoned orders (never paid) are deleted after a short window.
- Completed orders are kept only as long as needed for fulfilment, support and basic accounting records, then the personal details are removed.
- The print-ready PDF of your order is automatically deleted from storage after 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what we're legally required to keep for accounting purposes. Email orders@labelcub.co.za.
